Conduit Privacy Statement

Conduit helps your AI tools remember useful context about you. For example, it may help your AI remember your preferences, past decisions, ongoing projects, work history, or other information that you have shared.

Depending on the features you use, Conduit may work with:

• Conversations you have on supported AI websites
• Personal memories created from those conversations
• Information you manually add to Conduit
• Emails, documents, or files from accounts you choose to connect
• Settings and preferences related to how Conduit works

Conduit only accesses information needed to provide the features you choose to use.

All personal information collected or created by Conduit is stored locally on the User's own laptop and browser.

Conduit does not maintain a central server containing your personal memories, conversations, emails, documents, or browsing history.

Because this information is stored on your device, it stays under your control. You can review it, edit it, delete individual memories, clear all Conduit data, or remove Conduit from your browser.

Conduit uses your information to provide features directly to you, including:

• Identifying information that may be useful to remember
• Organizing personal context into memories
• Finding relevant context for a new question
• Searching connected sources when you ask Conduit to do so
• Showing relevant context inside Conduit
• Improving the reliability and security of the product

Conduit does not use your information to build advertising profiles, determine your eligibility for services, or make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, or education.

Some Conduit features may use an external AI or cloud service to process information.

For example, Conduit may temporarily send a selected prompt, email excerpt, document excerpt, or relevant memory to an AI provider to summarize information, identify a useful memory, rank search results, or complete another action you requested.

When this happens, Conduit sends only the information needed to perform that task. Conduit does not store that information on its own servers after processing.

External providers may process information according to their own privacy terms and the agreements Conduit has with them. A current list of providers is available at [link].

You may choose to connect Conduit to Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Docs.

Depending on the permissions you approve, Conduit may access email metadata, email content, file names, document content, dates, senders, recipients, and related information.

Connecting a Google account is optional. Conduit only accesses Google information to provide features you request, such as finding a relevant email or document.

Conduit does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, transfer it to data brokers, or use it to train a general-purpose AI model.

You can disconnect your Google account or revoke Conduit's access at any time through your Google account settings.

Conduit does not:

• Store your personal information on its own servers
• Sell your personal information
• Sell or share your information with advertisers
• Build an advertising profile about you
• Track your general browsing activity
• Read information from websites where Conduit is not enabled
• Use your private information to train a general-purpose AI model
• Allow employees to casually review your conversations, emails, documents, or memories

Conduit may share limited information only when necessary to provide a feature you requested, comply with the law, protect the security of the service, or work with a service provider that supports Conduit's operation.

Conduit may also share information when you specifically direct it to, such as when you ask Conduit to send information to another service.

Service providers may only use information for the limited purpose of providing their service to Conduit.

You are in control of the information stored by Conduit.

You may:

• View your stored memories
• Edit or delete individual memories
• Clear all locally stored Conduit data
• Disconnect connected accounts
• Revoke account permissions
• Uninstall Conduit

Uninstalling the extension may remove locally stored Conduit data, depending on your browser and device settings. Export any information you want to keep before removing Conduit.

Conduit uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information during storage and transmission.

However, no software, device, browser, or internet connection can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because your information is stored locally, you should also protect your laptop and browser account with appropriate passwords, device encryption, software updates, and access controls.

Conduit is not intended for children under 13 or anyone below the minimum legal age required in their country.

Conduit does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Statement as Conduit changes.

When an update materially changes how personal information is handled, we will provide reasonable notice through Conduit, the extension listing, our website, or another appropriate channel.
